Tree of Heaven Tincture
Ailanthus Altissima
Description
Product description Heaven tree Tincture
Latin name: Ailanthus altissima. The Tree of Heaven, God's Tree, Chinese Ash, or Chumak is also called Stinker because of the unpleasant odor of its leaves and flowers. It is a fast-growing, strong tree that reaches a height of 25 to 30 meters.
When it reaches a maximum height of 25 m, the tree has a spread of about 15 m. The flowering habit of this Stinker is characterized by very large, compound leaves on which large white plumes with yellow-green or pink-red fruits appear.
It originated in China and Korea and is slowly spreading throughout the Western world. The Ailanthus is considered an invasive species, and for this reason, efforts are being made in the Netherlands to ban its sale and cultivation. This is unfortunate, because the Ailanthus thrives in areas where other trees won't, such as in highly urbanized areas.
