Sarsaparilla (Smilax Medica) is a climbing plant from the family Smilacaceae and occurs naturally in tropical and subtropical regions of Central and South America. The plant can grow up to 50 meters long and prefers moist, well-drained soil.

Sarsaparilla is a woody, climbing plant with thorny stems and heart-shaped leaves. The root is fleshy, reddish-brown, and branches into thin roots that can grow meters long. The roots form the part traditionally used for extracts and tinctures. During the flowering season, small yellow-green flowers appear, followed by red berries that often attract birds.

Build up to 20 drops 3 times a day or as advised by your practitioner. If you notice a reaction that is too strong, reduce the dosage or contact your doctor.

Usage

Take the <tc>Tincture</tc> Preferably at least half an hour before the meal. Always shake the bottle gently before use.

Drops directly from the bottle into the mouth, preferably under or on the tongue
Drop on a teaspoon and take
Drop the <tc>Tincture</tc> in a small glass with a little water. Use warm water if you want the alcohol to evaporate. Let the glass stand for a moment before drinking it.

In all cases: keep the liquid in the mouth for ± 1 minute for rapid absorption through the oral mucosa
