Description
Book Light on Lyme - Tamara Tyler
This book is in Dutch.
Lyme disease is a complex illness. Diagnosing it accurately and treating it successfully proves difficult. Conventional antibiotic courses often prove insufficient, but there are alternative forms of therapy and bactericidal herbal remedies that can be used with good results. However, finding the right therapy or course is not easy. The Lyme patient must search for this themselves. The stories bear witness to the lack of understanding from doctors and society, which makes being ill a lonely affair for many Lyme patients. But the stories also bear witness to fighting spirit and the finding of treatments that can actually tackle the disease. Therefore, the stories offer recognition and hope to everyone with Lyme who is still searching, as well as to friends, family, interested parties, doctors, and therapists who treat Lyme. The personal stories shed light on what helps in recovery from Lyme: good therapy and/or herbal remedies, and additionally, the willingness to take good care of oneself and stand up for oneself very strongly.
