Dosage

• Inhalatie: De aromatische geur van de etherische oliën kan worden verspreid door enkele druppels van de olie in het water van een diffuser of oliebrander te doen. Of doe enkele druppels direct op een geursteen of tissue.
• Op de huid: Omdat etherische oliën zeer geconcentreerd zijn wordt geadviseerd om ze in principe altijd te verdunnen in een dragerolie (zoals jojoba- of amandelolie) voordat je het op de huid aanbrengt. Een gebruikelijke verhouding is 1-3% etherische olie in een draagolie. De precieze dosering hangt af van de etherische olie die je gebruikt en het doel waarvoor je de verdunning inzet.
• Huidtest: Voordat je een etherische olie (verdund in een dragerolie) op je huid aanbrengt, is het verstandig om een patchtest uit te voeren. Breng een kleine hoeveelheid aan op een klein stukje huid en wacht 24 uur om te zien of er een reactie optreedt.

Usage

You can use the product for various purposes:

• Aromatherapie: De aardse geur van cederhoutolie heeft een rustgevend en harmonieus effect op de geest. Het kan helpen om stress te verminderen, innerlijke balans te herstellen en een gevoel van kalmte te bevorderen.
• Huidverzorging: Het staat bekend om zijn natuurlijke antibacteriële en ontstekingsremmende eigenschappen die de huid ondersteunen. Het kan helpen bij het verminderen van acne, het verzachten van de huid en het bevorderen van een gezonde teint. Ook kan het verlichting brengen bij jeuk en irritatie. Niet voor niks is Cederhout een veelgebruikt ingrediënt in diverse huidverzorgende producten.
• Haarverzorging: De olie kan de bloedsomloop bevorderen en zo helpen bij de verzorging van de hoofdhuid. Het is met name goed in het kalmeren van een geïrriteerde of jeukende hoofdhuid. Meng de etherische olie hiervoor met een draagolie (of in een neutrale natuurlijke shampoo) en masseer het zachtjes in de hoofdhuid.
• Natuurlijk middel tegen insecten: De geur van cederhout werkt ontmoedigend voor insecten zoals muggen en motten. Het kan worden gebruikt op een geursteen, in een spray of diffuser om bescherming te bieden.
• Ontspanning en slaap: Vanwege de kalmerende eigenschappen kan deze etherische olie ontspanning brengen en zo een betere nachtrust bevorderen. Doe een paar druppels in je diffuser om een rustgevende sfeer in de slaapkamer te creëren.

Shipping Policy

We strive for fast delivery. The general rule is that orders placed on workdays before 2:00 PM will be shipped the same day, with an exception. If you order after 2:00 PM, your order will be shipped the next working day. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be posted the next working day.

Our orders are transferred to DHL with care. From the moment the package leaves us, responsibility for safe and timely delivery lies with DHL. Naturally, we remain closely involved and do everything we can to ensure that the shipment runs as smoothly as possible. If something goes wrong, we will be happy to help you find a suitable solution.

Shipping methods

When processing your order you can choose from the following shipping methods:

• Home delivery via DHL: Your order will be delivered to the address you specified.
• Delivery to a DHL Service Point (only in the Netherlands): your package will be automatically sent to the nearest DHL point. You can change the delivery point to a different location via the My DHL app.

NB! You cannot select a service point yourself. It automatically goes to the nearest DHL service point. You can change this service point to another location via the My DHL app.

Package not collected

If a package is not collected from the service point on time, it will be automatically returned to us.

Do you still want to receive the package?

That's possible! You will then receive a payment request for the new shipping costs. As soon as these have been paid, we will resend your package.

Do you choose to cancel the order?

We will then refund the amount of the items, excluding the original shipping costs. These are deducted as a contribution to the shipping and handling costs incurred.

Tip: Collect your package on time to avoid extra costs. You will always receive a notification from DHL as soon as it is ready.

Returns Policy

Sustainable packaging

We package your order with attention to people and the environment. Our filling materials are made from biodegradable corn starch – fully compostable and suitable for the green bin.

The label always contains hazard statements, below is the meaning of these symbols:

Warnings

• Pregnancy and children: Some essential oils are not safe for pregnant women or small children. Always consult a doctor or aromatherapist before use in these cases.
• Care for conditions: If you have certain medical conditions or are taking medications, it is important to consult with a doctor before using essential oils. If medical advice is needed, have the container or label available.
• Avoid contact with eyes: If the eyes come into contact with the essential oil, rinse the eye thoroughly with lukewarm or cold water for at least 10 minutes. In the case of contact lenses, remove them as soon as possible. Contact a doctor if symptoms persist after rinsing.
• In case of skin contact: If there is contact between the skin and the essential oil, stretch the affected clothing. Then wash the skin with plenty of water and, if possible, with soap. Contact a doctor if the skin remains sensitive after rinsing.
• After swallowing: consult a doctor immediately. DO NOT induce vomiting.
