Bentonite is a type of clay of volcanic origin and consists of 95% Montmorillonite Bentonite, which is the purest form of Bentonite. BentoniteMED is ultrafinely ground and of controlled quality. BentoniteMED is a medically certified product (CE0481).

Bentonite has many similarities with zeolite. One of the differences between bentonite and zeolite is that bentonite forms a gel-like protective film, making its effect 'softer'.

Dosage and use

Use and duration of application Bentonite Powder

Medical product for oral use: Stir half a teaspoon (= 1 g) into a glass of water (250 ml) 2-3 times a day and drink at least half an hour before meals. Use for up to 12 weeks. If repeated use, take a break of at least one week.

Warnings and safety instructions

If you experience any unexpected side effects, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
In case of constipation, increase fluid intake, reduce the dosage and consult your doctor if necessary.
Use in patients with constipation, reduced renal function, existing diseases, drug therapy or chemotherapy or radiotherapy only after consultation with a doctor.
Pregnant or breastfeeding women, children and adolescents (under 18 years) should consult their doctor before use.
Do not inhale. Do not use simultaneously with alcoholic, caffeinated or acidic drinks such as grapefruit, orange, lemon and pineapple juice.
In case of eye contact, rinse eyes sufficiently.
Ensure sufficient fluid intake during use (water or other non-alcoholic drinks).
Not intended for continuous long-term use. Discontinue use if unusual effects occur.

Side effects

Constipation may occur in the first week. In very rare cases, flatulence, stomach pain, nausea, dizziness and fatigue may occur.

Interaction with medications

When taking medications simultaneously, maintain a time interval of 2 hours. Take medications, unless otherwise directed by your doctor, before taking Bentonite.

Storage and shelf life

Keep out of the reach of children. Close the packaging properly after use. Store the product dry and at room temperature. Protect from direct sunlight. Do not use the product after the expiry date. Best before: see expiry date on the packaging.
